Senior Software Developer
How you will make an impact…
You are someone who loves designing algorithms and data-flows for cloud-based distributed systems. You enjoy a mix of high-level design & programming implementation that will span cloud providers and technology stacks. Experience is not required in all of them, as learning on the job is expected and will be fully supported by the rest of the team. Our code base is mainly Java, a strong understanding of Java concepts and functionality is required.
Key Competencies
- Strong problem-solving and exploration ability
- Ability to work with other developers and assist junior team members.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Monitor & analyze resources, APIs, & data in the cloud (AWS or GCP)
- Identify & prioritize areas that can be optimized, expanded, or redesigned
- Plan & act on these priorities in collaboration with other team members
Education & Experience
- Strong distributed systems background
- Experienced with at least one of: AWS or GCP
- Experienced with Java 8
- Experienced with any DI framework (Guice or Spring)
- Experienced with SQL Queries
Valuable Additional Skills:
